# Verschlüsselungseinrichtung

ngSurvey kann entweder auf Serverebene konfiguriert werden, um [transparente Verschlüsselung](/de/data-encryption/encryption-setup/transparent-encryption.md) mit einem einzelnen symmetrischen textbasierten Schlüssel zu verwenden, der Daten automatisch bei Bedarf verschlüsselt und entschlüsselt, oder Sie können [jede Umfrage unabhängig absichern](/de/data-encryption/encryption-setup/pgp-encryption.md) mit separaten asymmetrischen  [PGP-Schlüsselpaaren](/de/data-encryption/encryption-setup/pgp-encryption.md) um Ihre Daten mit Ihrem öffentlichen Schlüssel zu verschlüsseln und sie nur auf Abruf mit Ihrem privaten Schlüssel zu entschlüsseln.

Verschlüsselte Daten können nicht wiederhergestellt werden, wenn Sie Ihre Verschlüsselungsschlüssel verlieren.

## 👨‍💻️ Zusätzliche Sicherheitsüberlegungen

Neben der Verschlüsselung von Daten in der Datenbank empfehlen wir außerdem, Ihre Datenbank im Ruhezustand mit SQL Servers nativer Transparent Data Encryption zu sichern. Dies stellt sicher, dass alle von SQL Server zum Speichern Ihrer Daten verwendeten Dateien ordnungsgemäß geschützt und verschlüsselt sind.

Sobald Sie einen Verschlüsselungsschlüssel eingerichtet haben, werden neue SQL-Verbindungszeichenfolgen, Active Directory-Passwörter und Systemeinstellungen (Mail, twilio) verschlüsselt. Um alte Werte zu verschlüsseln, müssen Sie deren Wert erneut aktualisieren.
