# Redis-Caching

Standardmäßig verwendet ngSurvey bei aktivierter verteilten Cache-Funktion seine Datenbank zur Verwaltung der zwischengespeicherten Objekte. Als Alternative für hochleistungsfähige Szenarien ist es auch möglich, stattdessen einen Redis-Caching-Server für ngSurvey zu konfigurieren. Diese Konfiguration kann die Leistung verbessern, indem sie die Cache-Speicherung von Ihrer Datenbank auf den Redis-Server verlagert.

Um Ihren Redis-Caching-Server einzurichten, legen Sie die folgende Umgebungsvariable mit Ihrer Redis-Verbindungszeichenfolge fest; optional können Sie auch einen spezifischen Instanznamen für Ihren Redis-Speicher angeben.
