# Emplacement de l’adresse IP

## 🌐 Qu'est-ce que la localisation par adresse IP ?

La fonctionnalité de localisation par adresse IP tentera de déterminer l’emplacement d’un Répondant en fonction de son adresse IP. Elle peut être activée ou désactivée à tout moment depuis le [propriétés du sondage](/fr/form-management/form-designer/form-settings.md) page. 

La recherche de localisation par IP ne sera effectuée qu’une fois qu’un Répondant aura soumis ses réponses et n’est pas réalisée en « temps réel » afin d’éviter tout retard lors de la soumission des réponses.

La localisation par IP recherchera également les informations de localisation pour tout Répondant enregistré dans votre Sondage avant l’activation de la propriété de recherche de localisation par IP.

Les attributs de localisation suivants peuvent être extraits de l’IP.

* Continent
* Pays
* Région
* Ville
* Code postal
* Latitude
* Longitude

La latitude et la longitude seront remplacées par la localisation du navigateur du Répondant si vous avez activé [browser location](/fr/form-management/form-designer/geolocation/browser-location.md) sur votre sondage. 

Veuillez noter que la localisation par IP peut ne pas correspondre exactement à l’emplacement du Répondant car l’IP utilisée peut se trouver à un autre endroit ; cependant, elle fournit néanmoins des informations utiles sur les emplacements de vos Répondants.

Une fois activée sur un Sondage, ngSurvey effectuera rétroactivement la recherche de localisation pour tout Répondant enregistré du Sondage.
