The panel properties let you define how your panel should you run.

## 🔅 Panel properties

* **`Panel name`** display name of your panel.
* **`Panelist source type`** defines how your panelists are [lookup](https://docs.ngsurvey.com/form-management/security/security-items/panel-security/panelist-mapping) when [linked](https://docs.ngsurvey.com/form-management/form-designer/questions/panel-linking) to surveys using the [panel security item](https://docs.ngsurvey.com/form-management/security/security-items/panel-security).
