# Translation

The translation smart work allows you to dynamically translate any of your respondent text entries. Translations can be very handy specially in multi-language surveys were you collect feedback from respondents in various languages and want to be able to have a translation of those feedback into one target language that you understand.  

## 🔅 Translation properties

* **`Source answer column`**is the column of your respondents dataset that will be used as source for the translation.
* **Target language** language in which the text will be translated. 

Below is an example of a smart column "Review in  french" that translates the review answers into French.
