# Intercepts

An intercept allows you to display a survey or form to website visitors at a specified time or based on specific conditions. If no specific triggers are set up, the intercept will automatically display for every visitor to the website or page where the intercept is active.

Every intercept must be associated with an [Intercept Host](/form-management/publish-deploy/website-intercepts/intercept-hosts.md). The host serves as the framework within the page or site, providing the placement for intercepts to appear.

To enable an intercept, make sures to add the unique intercept host code to the page or site where you want the intercept to display. Once this is done, any associated intercepts will activate on the specified page(s) as configured.
