# Restore a deleted survey

In this walkthrough you will see how to delete, restore and re-open a survey for users.

## ❌ Delete a survey

1. At the **Open Surveys** menu choose the survey to delete
2. Press on 3 vertical dots on the left from the survey name
3. Choose **delete** option and confirm by pressing Delete red bar&#x20;

## ↩️ Restore a survey

1. Go to the **Trashcan** at the **Forms** menu on the left.
2. Press on 3 vertical dots on the left from the survey name.
3. Choose **restore** option.

## ✅ Re-open a survey

The survey is automatically closed when moved to the trashcan folder as such you need to re-open the survey after being restored.&#x20;

1. Go to the **Projects** 📁folder at the **Forms** menu on the left.
2. Press on the restored survey.
3. Enable the [Open option](/form-management/overview-reports/overview-title.md) on the top of the overview page near the surveys name.
